American Rescue Plan Act

Small businesses, particularly those owned by minorities, have faced significant challenges due to the impact of COVID-19, especially in older commercial areas. To address this, the Sac IEDC's American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) technical assistance program has been designed to offer crucial support to all small businesses located in the City of Sacramento. This program specifically caters to the needs of minority-owned businesses, recognizing the additional obstacles they may encounter in their recovery efforts.

The program provides a range of valuable resources, starting with informative webinars conducted by experts who address relevant topics in today's business landscape. These webinars cover essential information such as navigating business operations in a COVID-19 environment and establishing a strong online presence to boost sales. Additionally, the program offers personalized consulting assistance on a one-on-one basis, covering a wide array of subjects. Language barriers are also taken into account, with in-language options available in Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, and other languages as required.
